this case was so big and so dark inside that it needed help to bring light into it and help create light that you can plainly see the light that is now generated

this is done for now till the aluminum sheeting arrives that will cover the 5.25 bays and will recieve a new treatment ..ad in the red fans and the yellow LED strip lights this is sure to be a hot case when finnished

here i have rough mitered the 3 inch stock billet material to 2&13/16ths the rest of the material will be snugged down by hand till i am at 2&11/16ths so that it will snuggly fit into my panavise and mill platforms for the new 3x40mm fan mounts

here is a completely fitted piece of 1/8th thickness of 6061 billet alloy cut down and sectioned to fit my mill table of 2.57 inches where as the stock material was at 3.00" this needed to be done so that i can remill the 3x40mm fan holes into this plate so that i can affix all 3 fans to the plate and mount the plate to the server 2u case as one unit

the hole to the right is a correct bore through, where as the middle hole is what happens when the pilot drill walks the field of cut and requires a new bit and the far left is oblonged cut path and is the result of the hole saw being of complete dullness in comparison of the first cut...basicaly put the hole saw is useless at finnishing the boring job
